Papaya Kefir Smoothie

I love breakfast.

I tend to fantasize about the next day's breakfast before I go to bed every night. And sometimes, I would be eager to go to bed just so I can wake to breakfast quicker. I know, I'm weird that way =p

So, if you've read about my previous post on homemade kefir, this is one of the follow up posts to it. With my homemade kefir and some just riped papaya in my pantry, I've made this refreshing smoothie: Papaya kefir smoothie. Yum yum yum~~

Hmm...what can be more refreshing than a fresh tropical fruit smoothie on a Sunday morning? This yummy drink is a perfect way to start the day off!

All you need is a two ingredients and a blender. Breakfast couldn't be any simpler...so please, no nonsense about not having enough time to make your own healthy breakfast!

Ingredients:-

- Papaya (feel free to add as many or as little as you like! I personally prefer my smoothie thick so I add more papaya)

- 200ml of cold kefir (either storebought or homemade--make your own, it's simple! Recipe and method here)

Put all in a blender, add a drizzle of honey (optional) and a dash of cinnamon powder. Cover and blend to liquid perfection for about 30 seconds.

Then sit back & enjoy your smoothie... mmm... if only life could be this simple ;)
